Daily Care

Fine jewellery requires gentle handling and regular care to maintain its brilliance. Follow these simple guidelines to protect your investment.

• Remove before activities: Take off your jewellery before swimming, exercising, bathing, or applying lotions and perfumes
• Store separately: Keep each piece in its individual LUSANNE pouch or box to prevent scratches
• Last on, first off: Put on your jewellery after applying makeup, perfume, and hairspray
• Avoid chemicals: Keep your jewellery away from chlorine, bleach, and harsh cleaning products

Cleaning Your Jewellery

Gold & Platinum

Soak in warm water with a few drops of mild dish soap for 15 minutes. Gently brush with a soft-bristle toothbrush, rinse thoroughly, and pat dry with a soft cloth.

Diamonds

Use a solution of mild ammonia and water (1:6 ratio). Soak for 30 minutes, brush gently, and rinse. Avoid touching the diamond surface with your fingers after cleaning.

Gemstones

Different gemstones require different care. Emeralds and opals are porous and should only be wiped with a damp cloth. Rubies and sapphires can be cleaned with mild soap and water.

Pearls

Pearls are delicate organic gems. Wipe them with a soft, damp cloth after each wear. Never use ultrasonic cleaners or harsh chemicals on pearls.
